About Us

We here at JMD Training operate out of Drury in North Wales with main classrooms in Ellesmere Port near Chester. Immediately on the M53 and linking M56 motorways. We train regularly for companies such as Calor Gas, Air products, B.O.C. Hoyer, TWA Logistics, Scania, A tankers, Veolia and many more around the UK.

We are particularly proud to have accommodated many private individuals on our courses and have formed many friendships through this form. We also offer speciality courses for individual Classes, so if you just carry one particular Class then we can tailor a course to suit, for packages this can be as little as just two days duration.

Classes We Cover

As vehicle class 1-9 driving tutors we are fully Approved by the Dft and Scottish Qualification Authority to provide all Classes of ADR Training:

Class 1

• Explosives (Specialist 1 day course)

Class 2

• Gasses, including flammable, toxic, non flammable & non toxic.

Class 3

• Flammable liquids, fuels, alcohols, solvents, resins, paint, etc.

Class 4

• Flammable substances
• Flammable solid
• Spontaneously combustable
• Dangerous when wet

Class 5

• Oxidizing agents & organic peroxides

Class 6

• Toxic and infectious substances

Class 7

• Radioactives (specialist 1 day course)

Class 8

• Corrosives, acids & alkalies.

Class 9

• Miscellaneous. includes; elevated temperature liquids, environmentally hazardous, asbestos, life rafts, lithium batteries, car air bags, etc.

Over 30 years experience

All our drivers have over thirty years experience in the transport industry, Europe as well, and Mike (MD) have over twenty five years experience with the UK leader of LPG gas supplies.

We have been delivering approved ADR courses for over five years now.

We are careful to maintain a driver friendly course - which ensures that candidates are relaxed and therefore open to the instruction - because of this we believe this is results in a very high pass rate.
